Software Is Nothing, LLC · Innsbruck, Austria

I build AI-driven systems and deploy them at real-world scale.

Engineer and operator. I build full-stack platforms, train AI on my own hardware, and run self-hosted systems that keep the data in the building. Before software, I spent a decade launching and scaling operations across the US and EU.

Built with TypeScriptPythonPostgresDockerLiteLLMCloudflare

I spent a decade putting products into the real world: micromobility across Europe, and a 150-vehicle pilot in Atlanta that grew into the East Coast's largest market. Now I build the software those operations run on.

What I do

Systems that hold up in production.

Full-stack platforms

Web, API, data, mobile. I design, build, and run them end to end.

Locally trained AI

I fine-tune and distill models on my own GPU, then serve them on hardware I own.

Data-sovereign by default

The AI runs self-hosted. Reaching for a cloud model is a deliberate, per-task choice.

Flagship · tailharbor.eu

A 40-country adoption platform, built and run solo.

Full-stack web, native iOS and Android apps, and a scraper network that mostly keeps itself running. The translation runs on models I trained myself.

Selected work

Projects, end to end.

01 Client websites & web apps Fast, low-maintenance sites and apps I build for clients: a ~90-page luxury real-estate site, an offline Japanese-study PWA, plus travel and marketing sites. Static or edge-deployed, so they load quickly and cost almost nothing to run. AstroReact 19ViteCloudflarePWA 02 AI model training & distillation I trained and distilled language models on my own GPU to replace a paid translation API. A full fine-tune of Opus-MT, plus a LoRA distillation of a EuroLLM student. I choose the model to ship by whether it keeps safety-critical facts intact, not by its loss curve. German and Spanish are live. LoRAOpus-MTEuroLLMCTranslate2GGUF 03 Executive AI Assistant, a local-AI dashboard for European companies A data-sovereign assistant that reads a company inbox, triages it, drafts replies, and waits for one-click approval with a 30-second undo. Every inference call stays on self-hosted infrastructure. It has 17 business connectors and a live, access-controlled demo, and sending is off by default. PythonFastAPILiteLLMNext.jsLocal-only 04 Bagjump, in-house platform engineering A company's worth of internal software, built by the marketing hire. A marketing-analytics platform and a company-wide operations portal, including "Ask BAGJUMP": a cited-answer RAG assistant (self-hosted embeddings plus a knowledge graph) on the web and in Teams, routed through a self-hosted EU LLM that refuses cloud AI by default. There's also an 8-engine ops platform and a 36-endpoint integration layer. TypeScriptNext.js 15PostgresRAGpgvectorSelf-hosted LLMEntra ID 05 Home Lab, a self-hosted AI compute fleet Three mismatched machines behind one gateway, acting as a single auto-routing inference pool. I run it like production: benchmarks, monitoring, postmortems when something breaks, and read-only guardrails. This is the hardware the local AI runs on. LiteLLMOllamaPrometheusQdrantGitea 06 B2B Deal Intelligence Platform A Python AI-agent platform for a specialist B2B operator. It finds prospects across sources, dedupes and scores them, and drafts outreach in the operator's voice, all behind a human approval step and a compliance gate enforced in the database. It runs on a multi-provider AI router with priority-ordered failover. PythonPostgresNext.jsAI routerMicrosoft Graph 07 Freedom Machine Autonomous research infrastructure. The LLM proposes, a deterministic layer decides. Backed by a 3,000-plus test offline chaos suite. Paper-only. The other half

"I'd rather build the small in-house tool than buy the bloated SaaS."

Before software, I spent a decade launching markets and running field operations: international expansion at TIER Mobility, GM for Lime in Georgia, marketing leadership at Bagjump. That operator's instinct still runs through everything I build.
